Minitrekking by the Perito Moreno Glacier: 

Would you like to enjoy one of the funniest activities in El Calafate? This walk starts with the trip from El Calafate to the Bajo de las Sombras port (about an hour and a half), where board to cross the Rico Lake. Groups of up to 20 people are formed, who perform a 20-minute walk to the glacier and, once with the crampons on, the ascent begins. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and you can enjoy the ice formations, know about the flora, fauna and glaciology of the region and, especially, about the phenomenon of glacier rupture. Then, we return to the refuge through the Magellan forest and, from there, we cross the Rico Arm of the Argentino Lake to sail in front of the glacier. You can also enjoy from the view of Perito Moreno from the catwalks.
