Catamaran Ride:
Excursions on the Iguazú and Paraná rivers, crossing the waters of the Three Borders to
enjoy the unique landscape of the Misiones rainforest. The Victoria Austral Catamaran,
with capacity for 300 passengers, is designed to navigate observing the landscape from the
inside and from the main deck or terrace. It offers service of gastronomy, air-conditioned
atmosphere and toilets. The walk starts at the local Port, towards the Three Borders,
where the Iguazú River empties into the immense Parana River. There we remain in a long
360 turn to visualize the Milestones of the three countries: Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.
We navigate the Paraná River for a few kilometers and then enter the Iguazú River
upstream again, passing under the Tancredo Neves International Bridge and continue
navigating the Iryapu River bank until reaching the height of the Sanctuary, the east end of
the promenade and the navigable boundary of the river where begins the Iguazú National
Park, about 12 km from the Falls.
From that point the return downstream begins, with a live musical show and an
incomparable landscape illuminated with the last lights of the sunset ... A bilingual guide
tells you during the trip the details and characteristics of the area.
The port of the city of Iguazú is located a few blocks from downtown. It can be reached by
vehicle or on foot from the Milestone of the Three Borders crossing the whole Costanera,
or from
